surveyDescription | Be it remembered that at Woodstock in said county on the 27th of Nov. 1830 present Chester Baxter, Levi Jackman, Daniel Lillie, John Brown road commissioners within and for said county. The petition of James C. Slayton and others for a road to be laid up the valley from the County Road in Hartland that leads from Windsor to Woodstock to Amos Ralph's in Woodstock being read and all parties heard and the premises examined the commissioners decree that the prayer of said petitioners be granted and have laid out and surveyed said road, assessed damages and taxed as follows. Beginning in Woodstock at an apple tree opposite Amos Ralph's Cider Mill from thence. |
