surveyDescription	The honorable selectmen of Hartland Gent(?) We the undersigned petitioners for a road from Daniel Whitaker's now xxx? xxx? xxx? in Hartland to the road which leads from J. Burks to B.T. Gowings to come out near the second bridge from said Burks in the best practical route from said Whitaker's to said road. We request you to lay out said road as soon as convenient as is duty bound will ever pray. Received this petition and gave xxx? xxx? to the petitioners of the time and plan to meet there. we proceeded to make examination of the premises. Hence set forth and come to the conclusion that said road ought to be laid. Therefore, we have laid out said road according to the following survey. Beginning at a point in the West (?) line of the road, and ..........continued below. The above described road is surveyed in the center and laid out three rods wide.
